Terry Apt Carasick is a nurse practitioner, naturopath, and a clinical herbalist who specializes in the medicinal use of herbs. Her training includes extensive studies in naturopathic medicine and therapeutic herbalism. She has recently completed the Advanced Clinical Herbalism Program at the BotanoLogos School for Herbal Studies. She has a private herbalism practice, conveniently located outside Atlanta, in Marietta, Georgia. Terry is a member of The American Holistic Nursing Association and of the American Herbalist Guild.
Terry coordinates the Continuing Education Program for Nurses at the Southeastern Women's Herbal Conference, and conducts continuing education in herbalism for nurses in North Carolina. She is a popular speaker who educates community groups about herbalism and holistic health.
Terry lives with her husband in Cobb County. They spend the summer months on Beech Mountain, North Carolina. An accomplished home cook, she enjoys sharing her recipes with others. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, kayaking, hiking, and spoiling her only granddaughter.
